Qatar: KMCA to hold third ‘Tipu Sultan Cup’ from April 18

Qatar, Apr 10: Karnataka Muslim Cultural Association, (KMCA), Doha, Qatar, an affiliated organization to Indian Cultural Center (ICC) under the aegis of Indian Embassy-Qatar is all set to host its third Tipu Sultan Cup from April 18 to April 21at the Old Ideal India School ground. 

The inauguration of the tournament will be held on April 18 at 6:30 pm at Old Ideal Indian School Ground. 

The guest of honour of the opening ceremony will be Padmashri Girisha HN and Surjeet Singh  (Paralympic Athletes). 

The final will be played on April 21 and minister for youth, sports and fisheries, government of Karnataka, Abhayachandra Jain will be the guest of honour for the closing ceremony. 

The dynamic president of KMCA Niyaz Ahmed has appealed to all the cricket fans in Qatar to come and watch the spectacular tournament and extend their support to the participating teams.

The following teams will be participating in the four day tournament: Karnataka Muslim Cultural Association, Karnataka Sangha Qatar, Tulu Koota, Bunts Qatar, South Kanara Muslim Welfare Association, Indian Friend Circle (Karnataka Chapter), Social Forum Qatar and Qatar Karnataka Friends.
