Warm Saturday morning in Delhi


New Delhi, Apr 16 (IANS): It was a warm Saturday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 24.6 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, the Met office said.

"The sky will remain partly cloudy throughout the day," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Heat wave, prevailing in many parts of the country, is expected to continue in isolated places in Delhi.

The Met office has forecast dust raising winds likely to prevail in some parts of the city during the day.

According to the weather office, the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 41 degrees Celsius.

The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 34 percent, the official said.

Heat wave conditions prevailed in Delhi on Friday, with the maximum temperature rising to 40.1 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 23 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
