Kundapur, Oct 15: Pratibha Karanji was held at regional-level at Amparu here recently.
Presiding over the valedictory function Raju Devadiga, president, Kundapur taluk panchayat said that such a programme was the right occasion for the school children to exhibit their talent and unique abilities in singing, dancing, mimicking, quizzing etc.
He further said that the teachers and the students are the part and parcel of the programme. Elders and others will be there to take pride in their performances and encourage them to reach greater heights of excellence and perfection.
Sujatha Vasudeva Devadiga, vice-chairperson, Udupi district panchayat was the chief guest and distributed prizes to the winners in various competitions. Ganapathi Vaidya, ex-president of SDMC of Amparu Higher Elementary School was also felicitated on the occasion. Prabhakar Mithyanth, the regional education officer in-charge welcomed the gathering. The nodal officer Dinaker Shetty proposed the vote of thanks.
