JNU is a den of organised sex racket, says dossier prepared by university teachers

New Delhi, Apr 27 (India Today): A dossier prepared by a group of teachers of the Jawaharlal Nehru University is likely to add more fuel to the fiery controversy surrounding the prestigious academic institution. The 200-page report, which has been put together by a group of 11 JNU teachers, describes the university as a "den of organised sex racket."

The document, which was prepared in 2015 and released only recently to a few journalists, has been submitted to the JNU administration, The Wire reports. The report has been prepared by a group of 11 teachers, who are believed to be close to the Bharatiya Janata Party and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, the students' wing of the RSS.

Amita Singh, professor at the Centre for Law and Governance, who heads the group of teachers, claimed that sex workers inside JNU hostel messes are a common thing.

"Over one thousand boys and girls students have been fined from Rs 2000 to Rs 5000 for consuming alcohol, for indulging in immoral activities in their hostels. At a casual glance at the gates of the hostel one can see hundreds of empty alcohol bottles. Sex workers have been openly employed in hostel messes, where they not only lure JNU girls into their organized racket but also pollute the boys," Amita Singh was quoted as saying.

"How come big and high brand cars are moving around the hostels particularly in the night hours. Some security staff is also involved in this racket. Money, sex, drugs and alcohol are tools through which freshers are being lured into this ring," she added.

The document titled 'Jawaharlal Nehru University: The Den of Secessionism and Terrorism' also accuses a few university teachers of encouraging a "decadent culture in JNU and legitimising separatist movements in India."

"It is a matter of serious concern that some JNU academics masquerading as liberals and feminists have been engaged in nefarious and anti-national activities of maligning India publically through their statements, lectures, publications and extra-academic activities of their NGOs which receive liberal funding from foreign hostile agencies," the document states.

Assistant professor in the Special Centre for Sanskrit Studies, Hari Ram Mishra, who was part of the group which prepared the dossier, told The Wire that they want to safeguard JNU from more trouble.

"The reason we compiled and submitted the dossier to the university administration was to prevent future disturbances in the university. JNU has become a place where communists terrorise others in the name of freedom of speech. Our point is that students should be apolitical. If you want to enter politics, there is a huge field outside. But JNU Students' Union should be limited to campus work only. But unfortunately, here communists are preferred over meritorious students," Mishra said.

The report assumes significance as a high-level committee formed to probe the recent incidents on campus found many students guilty of raising anti-national slogans.

Earier this week, based on the recommendations of the high-level committee, the JNU administration rusticated research scholars Umar Khalid and Anirban Bhattacharya, and also fined student leader Kanhaiya Kumar Rs 10,000 for their involvement in a controversial event held in campus in the memory of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru.

ABVP leader Saurabh Sharma, who had complained against Kanhaiya and his comrades for their allegedly "anti-national" activities, has also been fined Rs 10,000 for the row.

Did it take these university teachers two years since 2014 to prepare the dossier?

I am saying two years as the previous government might not have permitted these dedicated teachers to spy on the immoral activities supported by the them.

The dossier might have a lot of sordid details of all the immoral activities as a lot of efforts must have been exerted.

Here's my million dollar question to all the BJP sympathizers...

If these dedicated teachers were wholly consumed in preparing this minute by minute dossier who has been carrying out the secondary task of teaching the students were the prostitutes doubling up as teachers?

Over 1000 boys and girls fined for consumption of alcohol and for indulging in immoral activities. Sex, drugs and alcohol are rampant in JNU. Surprising indeed! Are the administrative authorities totally unaware of these immoral activities? Or have they turned a deaf ear? Why have they allowed such students to stay in the campus? Why weren’t they rusticated?

For or against(ABVP, right wing)- this dossier will serve some good. Drugs and alcohol are never good in a campus. While its true that students can go else where and indulge in these activities-restrictions within the campus is a very very welcome move!

University has the right to formulate rules and regulations within the campus and as long as they do not restrict the peaceful activities they are good.

The real problem is the way of enforcement. For a student( who is an adult) who is determined to indulged in these activities- University campus should not be the place as this will undermine the rights of others who do not like these activities. Alcohol drugs and sex are a definite NO inside the campus and have to be dealt firmly with evidence to back the charges.

Consider JNU's symbiotic relations with civil service. Between 2002 and 2012, of the total 3,317 JNU students who wrote the Civil Service examinations, 496 cracked it as against 743 successful candidates out of 6,437 from Delhi University (which is many times bigger than JNU). For a small, postgraduate university like JNU, the number of students taking the Civil Service examinations as well as the rate of success is huge. The university produces more IAS officers than most of the states. Only the IITs rank above JNU on this score.Only the IITs rank above JNU on this score.

BJP MLA from Ramgarh assembly constituency in Rajasthan’s Alwar district,Gyandev Ahuja is the only one taking Modi's Swachh Bharat abhiyaan and Skill India seriously and specialised in Condom Counting from dustbins outside JNU.Later found himself showering currency on female dancers at a Lohri Mela organised by the Youth Punjabi Seva Samiti.

Rustication of students and fine have made clear that the government has neither forgiven nor forgotten. It is nothing but sweet revengae in the mid of approaching exams.

Shenoy maam, JNU prepared anti-nationals according to you. That means these anti-nationals like Nirmala Sitharaman are in the present govt.

Commerce minister Nirmala Sitharaman and department of industrial policy and promotion secretary Amitabh Kant - the force behind Prime Minister Modi's "Make in India" campaign -are both JNU graduates.

Foreign secretary S. Jaishankar and deputy national security adviser Arvind Gupta, both handpicked by Modi are from JNU

The university is alma mater to Syed Asif Ibrahim, the former Intelligence Bureau chief who was appointed by Modi last year as his special envoy on counter-terrorism, with a focus on West Asia.

And at least 15 Indian ambassadors currently serving abroad, and three division heads in the ministry of external affairs - tasked with protecting India's strategic and diplomatic interests - studied at JNU.

Senior IAS officer Ali Raza Rizvi, currently a joint secretary in the central ministry of health and family welfare too is a JNU product.

This is just a few. There have been hundreds in Indian politics and bureacracy who have been part of JNU and you and your BJP says, JNU is preparing anti-nationals. Cowards! Face JNU ideologically if you have the guts and gumption coupled with ideological conviction, instead of playing dirty games. But I know BJP does not have that inner strength because it's half-filled pot that makes noise.

Sunil can you tell me what was anti-social in JNU? All the enquiries so far have confirmed that those who were shouting anti-Indian slogans there were outsiders and looking by the events that are unfolding, it's almost certain that those guys were purposely planted by someone to tarnish JNU. Just being against the policies and practices of the Ruling govt, does not make one anti-India. It requires guts to flow against the current and JNU has been doing this for years. It has always been against malpractices, corruption etc. They had thwarted Indira Gandhi, they stood against MMS even. JNU is not a 500-student college, but premier and one of India's best institutions that has shaped the life of lacs who have in turn shaped India's fortune through their political, bureaucratic, social and business services. An institution of such repute does not become anti-national overnight with one planted and planned incidence. Ideological legacy of such institution speaks for itself and those who have repeatedly failed to take on the JNU on ideological front have now resorted to these cheap propaganda and are bent on destroying JNU.

Even to this day the so called students who shouted 'anti-India' slogans at JNU have not been caught while some others have been arrested, slapped with Sedition charges before the Court intervened and slapped the Centre. This clearly shows that entire JNU ruckus and controversy was well-planned and uted almost perfectly till one Kanhaiya emerged. A BJP lawmaker earlier had made similar comments, even before this report was out, which clearly shows these thugs were preparing grounds to tarnish JNU. BJP and the Right Wing has a reason to envy JNU. The entire Right Wing ideology has never been able to build up even one reputed institution in all these years, despite their best and crooked efforts. JNU has been the hot bed of Left and Left-Centre ideology for long and the Right wing has always had an eye on this. They knew that only way to thwart JNU's growth and tarnish its image was by doing something that would create a divide within JNU. But they had undermined the ideological strength of JNU and that is why, they had to summon 'SEDITION' to cover up their plans. Worst fear about Modi and his monkey brigade are coming true. They are out on a mission to destroy every Indian institution. Look at the way MansuSmriti Irani has been destroying the education system. Everything is planned and is being uted with a clear motive to fill in the existing institutions with narrow-nationalistic ideology and those who protest this, will systematically be destroyed by force and farce.

Who the hell are few to decide fate of our country. They are worst than Pakistani mercenaries. In such atmosphere where lots of traitors disguised as students making govt.spend 6 lakhs on them each year from the taxes collected from us how you expect us to tolerate these white elephants? How could our children study in such atmosphere? These kids don't know or don't want to know the value of safe and secured country. They don't know how it is like to be a refugee like some of the countries in middle east. This is like taking the extreme advantage of Freedom of expression. If KSA rule is applied, 90% crime will be reduced. 10% evil minded can not be stopped, but will be dealt perfectly if convicted.

    People,

    I have a nice suggestion...

All JNU students(both boys and girls) should be made to wear 'Chastity Belt' and keys of it should be deposited with Chancellor of JNU or this Prof. Amita Singh...

Once again history is repeated!!! The report is prepared by close to the Bharatiya Janata Party and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, the students' wing of the RSS. It looks like this BJP government is TALIBAN type. Do I say or we will kill you. They may put fire as it happened in Delhi!!!!!!

Why should we close an educational institute, which gives education for thousands of students. It is just to make 2.3 % of staff happy.
