Salman Khan to Play Tarzan

Mumbai, Oct 24: He’s got the look and the brawns to play the role of the jungle king Tarzan.

Almost two decades after Hemant Birje played Tarzan in a poorly directed jungle flick that went on to be a hit, Salman Khan is set to do the same. Only this time, the movie will be a big budget project to be made by a director of repute, that is Anees Bazmee (who directed No Entry ).

Salman, who loves to doff his shirt and flaunt his bare and shaven chest, won’t have any trouble getting into the very skin of his character, Tarzan, in the film.

To the further delight of the actor’s female fans, Salman may also not wear anything on his torso except a loincloth for most part of the movie.

Salman will also sport a very new hairstyle to match his character of Tarzan.

The actor says he has been eager to do a film for children as he believes he has a huge fan following among kids.

The movie, tentatively titled ‘Tarzan’, will be shot in jungles. Salman’s heroine is yet to be finalized.
