Bangalore, Oct 25:  As models walked the glittering ramp, Wednesday October 24 night turned into a paradise for the fashion lovers in the city.

Whose and whats of the fashion world present at the Hayward’s Black-India Men’s Fashion Fair (HBIMFF) 2007 held at Garden City Palace Grounds, savoured every moment of it.

In the genre of formal men’s wear with an Indian sensibility, Asif Saha excelled himself in markets from Dubai to Mumbai. This year he was commissioned to present the black collection for Hayward’s Black and was the official designer for HBIMFF-07.

Every designer tried his or her best to showcase their own identity in the event.  Designers Bibi Russell, Abraham an Thakore, Bangalore-based Mohammed Omair, Samanth Chauhan, Allen Solly, Rohith Bal, Bangalore-based Namrata G showcased an ethnic line with harem pants and kurtas.

Others to display their creativity were Ayaz Khan, Lokesh Ahuja and Madura Garments. Several top designers from India participated in the event this time, despite the event taking place after the Lakme Fashion Week.

The participating designers' line-up included Manish Malhothra, Rajesh Pratap Singh and Tarun Tahiliani among others. Designers of international fame Bibi Russell (Bangladesh), Leacoanet Hemant (France), Darshi Keertasena, (Sri Lanka), Deepak Perwani (Pakishtan) and Nico Kubisch (London) also showcased their talent at the event.
