Dear Mr. MC Shetty Thanks for expressing the congratulation to all KANNADIAGAS (including me). Sagha need the volunteer like you to come forward and support the Karnataka Sangha. Encourage the member to join and facilitate the fund to organize the events. Sagha is not meant for executive committee and it is for all members. No invitation is required to attend their own state program and they have come on their own. It is not the organization belongs to one set of people.
If you are the member you have the right to get the copy of Sagha Constitution. You be part of it. It is good that you expressed your opinion, but Sagha need the suggestion or solution to improve the same (big venue, programs of the taste). First of all let me congratulate all kannadigas on the occasion of 51st Rajyostsava celebrations. All over the world the kannadigas celebrate every year so the Dubai Karnataka Sangha also celebrated yesterday in a small way just to show the world that there is also Karnataka Sangha exists in Dubai. The venue was very was very conjusted and noisy.Though our karnataka Sangha here is nearly 30 years old and used to celebrate lot of programes every year in a big way unfortunately such things are not happening these days and the members attending the function are meagre.
It shows the executive commitee doesnt show interest in getting more members and they are quite happy to manage the limited programs with the courtesy of sponsors. Unfortunately it is not the objective of our Sangha according to the Sanghas's constitution.Therefore I request the new executive committee to give attention to involve more members and give many more programes in a year like it used to do earlier. I wish them all the best.
