Ballerine’s Showcase 2007 was organized by Ballerine’s school of dance, at the American International School, Dr Kamil Al Rayes Theater- Hawally here on Thursday November 1.
Ballerine’s school of dance has been conducting this programme to give a platform for its students to display their talents. This is the third year that Ballerine’s school of dance is conducting such programme.
Ballerine’s Showcase 2005 and 2006 were a huge success. Even though the week-end had shifted to Friday and Saturday in Kuwait, the Ballerine’s showcase 2007 was organized on Thursday. The theatre was crowded and the audience enjoyed every single minute of this programme. This in itself shows how the programmes of Ballerine`s are appreciated by the public where the motto of Ballerine’s is “Entertainment at its best”.
Ballerine’s school of dance not only trains students in the field of filmy dancing but also in various other dances, fashion shows, singing, acting etc.
This year the theme of the program was “United we stand divided we fall”. This was illustrated through a dance drama with a unique story of a king who desires to rule the world and a spirit waiting to get the freedom. The imagination and creativity was much appreciated by the audience.
Live music from ‘Blac Outz’ entertained the audience in between short breaks. After a short break there was raffle draw on the enter coupon which was sponsored and given out by Lawrence Pinto. Sponsors of the programme were felicitated by the director of Ballerine’s Sudhi Fronteiro with bouquet and memento. Melissa Fernandes was honored for her outstanding achievements by Sudhi Fronterio.
