Hamburg, Nov 5: German police were investigating a fight with knives among Indians at a place of worship here on Sunday in which two people were seriously injured and 18 were hurt.
Police said they believed the institution was run by Hamburg Sikhs. The subject of the argument was not known. Knives and swords had been used on both sides in the fighting, which involved around 30 people of Indian appearance.
The two seriously injured people were being treated in a local hospital. Other participants had fled the scene and were being sought by the police.
