Mangaluru, Jun 11: Relating to the murder of RTI activist, Vinayak P Baliga on March 21 this year, the police have frozen bank accounts of Naresh Shenoy, it is reliably learnt.
The bail applications moved by main accused in the case, Naresh Shenoy, were rejected by the sessions court as well as the high court. The team investigating the murder reportedly has frozen operations in five bank accounts held in the name of Naresh Shenoy. It is said that the police also contemplate freezing of fixed assets in the name of Shenoy as the next step towards pressurizing him to submit himself to the process of law.
In this case, five persons have been arrested so far.
