Mangalore: Rs 8 Lac Worth Electronic Items Stolen from City Showroom

Mangalore, Nov 5: The city has witnessed several cases of thefts especially targeting electronics shops nowadays. Again a huge amount of theft was reported from Mallikatte here on Monday, November 5.






The thieves decamped with mobile handsets, digital cameras and DVD players from an electronic shop called Avadhi Digitals belongs to Prashanth Shenoy. The cost of the stolen electronics item has been estimated as Rs 8 lac.
The shop owner closed the shop on Saturday, November 3 night. Moreover the shop remained closed on Sunday. The theft was come to light when he opened the shop at 9.30 am on Monday, November 5. The thieves took entry into the shop by breaking the window bars.






Kadri police have visited the spot along with the sniffer dog and finger print experts. But the sources informed that, no clue has been gathered so far in connection to this theft.
