Mumbai, Nov 9: The condolence meeting of veteran Kannada journalist, Dattatreya K Mendon will be held at Karnataka Sangh auditorium, situated at Matunga West, at 5-30 p m on Friday, November 9, being jointly organized by Kannada Journalists Association Maharastra and Karnataka Sangha.
The condolence meeting will be held in recognition to the contributions of Dattatreya K Mendon, to Kannada journalism, by publishing ‘Thayee Nudi’ Kannada weekly for almost 4 decades in the metro.
Kannada Journalists Association honorary chief secretary, Rons Bantwal and Karnataka Sangh honorary chief secretary, Srinivas Jokatte, urged all the journalists, well wishers of D K Mendon, office bearers of Tulu, Kannada and other regional organizations, members, to attend the condolence meeting in large numbers.
