Mumbai, Nov 13: The decennial celebrations of ‘Konkan Kallzam’ located at Sakinaka, Andheri, east was held at the open-stage of St Antony’s Church, Khairani Road, Sakinaka, on Saturday November 10.

Walter Nandalike, managing director and editor-in-chief of Daijiworld Media Network Private Limited, in his presidential address, said that if the plant is nurtured to grow into a tree, it would yield fruit.  But it will not grow overnight.  The tree has limited life.  Hence, it is not advisable to solely depend on the tree.  Accordingly, if the new talents are nurtured, it would yield better fruits in the future.

The programme was presided over by Fr Francis Martis, parish priest of St Antony’s church.

John Sequeira, president of Konkan Kalakar Mumbai, Antony Tauro, singer and Alex Monteiro, president of Konkan Kallzam, were the chief guests, present on the dais.

Fr Francis Martis and office-bearers of ‘Konkan Kallzam’ along with budding musicians, felicitated Antony Tauro.

‘Konkan Kalzam’ office-bearers, Rajesh Rodrigues, Veena Almeida, Richard D’Souza, Stephen Fernandes, Stany Salis, Suchita Tauro, honoured the guests with flower bouquets.

Alphonse D’Costa welcomed and compered the programme.  ‘Antony Tauro Nite’ was held as part of entertainment programme later.
