Udupi, Jul 26: The district level 'Jana Spandana' programme was inaugurated by district in-charge minister Pramod Madhwaraj at Town Hall on Tuesday July 26.
Speaking after the inaugural programme, he said, “As per the chief minister Siddaramaiah’s instructions before organizing KDP meeting in the district, district authority has to conduct Jana Samparka Sabha and Jana Spandana. There are nine Hoblis in the districts and the district authority will organize hobli-level Jana Spandana programme to hear the grievances of public in days to come.”
“During the public grievance meet, we will focus on giving solutions to problems and provide facilities to people. I have instructed the officials to resolve complaints received by people at the earliest.” Madhwaraj added.
“Karnataka chief minister has launched Bapuji Seva Kendra at gram panchayat office. It will help rural people to avail 100 different utility services on their doorsteps and avoid standing in queue at taluk office,” Madhwaraj said.
Promising corruption-free governance, Madhwaraj said, “I will provide corruption-free governance and government officials also have to make strong resolution of providing good service.”
A woman from Hiriyadka complained that she was facing problem with regard to form 9/11 to get share from her ancestral property.
Answering to her complaints, he said that the government has simplified the form 9/11 and the government will try to bring changes to suit public in coming days.
Sanjeeva, a transgender said, “I do not get expected support from the government for self-employment. I was ignored to get facility because I am an HIV infected.”
Minister also instructed CEO to issue notice to district surgeon who was absent during the meeting and went to Bengaluru to attend a meeting without any notice.
