Kuwait: Spectacular Bunts Get-together 2007 held

Kuwait, Nov 26: Bunts get together 2007 was held at Shaab Leisure Park auditorium here recently.

The programme began with the prayer by Baby Laxmi. This was followed by lighting the inaugural lamp by four elderly people joined by Divin Kumar Menda, president of the Sangha and the committee members.

Various competitions were held on this occasion. One of the unique competitions held was ‘Traditional Dress Competition’ for all the members. The other competitions like drawing, singing, and fancy dress were held which were a mixture of culture, entertainment and games enjoyed by all age groups.

Members of the Sangha entertained the gathering by their dance, skit and jokes.

After the traditional and delicious lunch, entertainment was followed with the games like ‘Snake & Ladder’ and Housie-housie.

Before winding-up the event, mementos were distributed to the winners and the participants. Gifts were also distributed to all the kids.

The programme concluded with the National anthem and DJ mix. The programme was ably compered by Surendra Shetty and managed by cultural secretary Kishore Shetty B.
