Mild Quake Shakes Alwar and Sikar in Rajasthan

Jaipur, Nov 26 (mb) : An earthquake of mild intensity jolted northern districts of Rajasthan early on Monday.

In Alwar, the earthquake was experienced at about 4.40 am and lasted for about three seconds. The residents woke up by the rattling sound of their windows.

This is the second time in a fortnight that quake struck Alwar.

There were reports of similar quake in Sikar also. However, no casualty or serious damage to property, was reported.
