Mangaluru, Aug 10: The bail application moved by Naresh Shenoy, who has been named as main accused in the murder case of RTI activist, Vinayak Baliga, and is currently in judicial custody, was rejected by the second additional sessions court here. The court, which heard the bail application on Tuesday August 9, refused to to entertain it.
It may be recalled that Naresh Shenoy, who went missing immediately after the said murder and had evaded arrest for long, had later been arrested by the police. During the period he was at large, he had unsuccessfully applied for bail through both district and high courts.
