Mangaluru: DK, Udupi districts get good rainfall - more rains predicted

Mangaluru, Aug 13: Almost all parts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts got good rainfall on Friday August 12.

The city got copious rainfall since the wee hours of Friday to morning hours. Sullia got rain all through the day while Kadaba soaked in intermittent rainfall. Bantwal and Beltangady too got good rain.

Udupi, Brahmavar, and Karkala taluk got normal rainfall.

The meteorological department has predicted rainfall almost all over the coast, some parts of southern inland and some more in northern inland during the period till Sunday morning.

    More rain we get, it is better as this summer has been the hottest one so far. Rains will solve many problems for many but a few will have to face hardships due to heavy rains, lightening, thundering, flooding, etc. etc. Just have faith in God and pray that everything and everyone are safe.
