Dharmasthala: Sonal Mansingh Inaugurates ‘Amruthavarshini’

Dharmasthala, Dec 5: The newly built auditorium ‘Amruthavarshini,’ which has been built to commemorate the platinum jubilee of All Religion and Literary Convention was inaugurated by Padmavibhushan and Padmabhushan awardee, eminent dancer Dr Sonal Mansingh, on Wednesday, December 5 evening.
Speaking on this occasion, she said “The enemy is within us. Hence, one should eliminate the enemy which is residing within”, she urged.
The nation has maintained a harmony among the multitude of religions since the ages of Indices. The same has been reflected here since many decades, she opined.
“Our life is a constant flow between birth and rebirth. Hence, one can compare the life with river Ganga. However, one should maintain purity in heart, like river Ganga, which was endowed to cleanse and purify the Mankind’, she suggested.
Meanwhile, she expressed concern over increase in violence, aggressiveness and mindlessness among the people, across the nation.

Dr D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadikari of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala, presided over the function.

Earlier, D C Shrikanthappa, MP of Chikmagalur inaugurated state-level exhibition which would continue for 5 days. He opined that, Sri Kshetra Dharmastal Rural Development Project (SKDRDP) has played a vital role in creating employment opportunities, rural development and women empowerment. Former MLA Prabkakar Bangera was also present on this occasion.
