Lalu, Gowda, HDK, Moily... star show for train launch

Mangalore, Dec 6: Union railway minister Lalu Prasad Yadav will inaugurate the 6518/17 Mangalore-Yeshwantpur Express at Mangalore Central Railway station on Saturday.

According to a press release from Southern Railway, state governor Rameshwar Thakur will be the chief guest and Union minister of state for railways R Velu will preside over the function.
 
The function will also be attended by former prime minister H D Deve Gowda, former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy, Union minister for labour Oscar Fernandes, former chief minister M Veerappa Moily, Rajya Sabha MP Janardhan Poojary, MPs D V Sadananda Gowda, Tejaswini Gowda, former minister Revanna, MLCs Blasius D’Souza, Ganesh Karnik, Shobha Karandlaje and DK Zilla Panchayat president Sucharitha Shetty.


The inaugural special train would leave Mangalore at 1 pm on that day and will run to open timings. The train will have one AC two-tier and one AC threetier coaches, six sleeper class and an equal number of second-class coaches, apart from two luggagecum-brake vans.

Regular service of the train will start from Yeshwantpur on Saturday, and on Sunday from Mangalore.

    The people who made a mockery of democracy have guts to stand before the most Cultured and educated mass of Mangalore with out shame. This is only possible in India which claims itself as world’s largest democratic state. Who is to be blamed?. We are responsible for tolerating such selfish elements. Unless otherwise we wake up realise our strength, which the constitution of this great country has bestowed upon us, these ugly elements will destroy our society and nation, either in the name of Religion or caste.

    I am suprised by the guts of Devagowda and Kumaraswamy coming to mangalore. why such importance is given to them. I do not know how people forget the drama he played.(people hit a person for robbing) this 2 people robbed the entire state. We pay tax for everything. and can people leave a person when playing with our earned money( it is not late, people you decide what to do with such persons and every other person who play with us)
