Bengaluru, Sep 6: Delhi chief minister, Arvind Kejriwal, will be in city for nearly two weeks later this month. He is scheduled to undergo surgery of the throat here on September 13 and recuperate for ten days thereafter.
Kejriwal will be treated for the problem of cough and phlegm he has been suffering from since long. He will rest here for ten days after surgery. The surgery will keep him away from his state and Punjab assembly election.
As the Delhi chief minister has been encountering various problems on account of cough and phlegm, he has decided to undergo surgery now. Before going to Bengaluru, he will undertake tour of Punjab for four days from September 8 and travel to the city on September 12.
His deputy, Manish Sisodia, will be in charge of the government at Delhi in Kejriwal's absence. Sisodia will visit Goa on Tuesday to buoy the spirit of party activists.
It may be recalled that Kejriwal had undergone treatment for ten days at Jindal Naturopathy Centre here last year. He also had participated in Vipassana meditation techniques at Dharmasala in Himachal Pradesh during the last month.
