Mumbai, Dec 13: ‘Let ‘Akshaya’ monthly grow into fortnightly, weekly and swiftly to daily newspaper, in the nearest future’, wished Jaya C Suvarna, president of Billava Association.

He was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of new office premises of ‘Akshaya’ monthly after lighting the lamp erected in front Brahmashree Narayana Guru portrait.

M B Kukyan, editor-in-chief of ‘Akshaya’ monthly, expressed his hope on ‘Akshaya’ emerging as daily as wished by the president, Jaya C Suvarna.

Y Nagesh, vice-president, Billava Association, Vasudev R Kotian, L V Amin, Shankar D Poojary, Jyoti K Suvarna, Rohini Salian, Vasanti Salian, Mohandas G Poojary, Suresh R Anchan, Chandrashekar Poojary, Umesh Kotian, Umesh B Sanil and others were present.

Nithyanand D Kotian, honorary secretary, Billava Association compered the programme.  Harish Hebbar proposed vote of thanks. Eshwar Alevoor, Gangadhar Paniyoor, Mahesh Karkala, Jayaram Nayak and staff members were present at the occasion.
