Pavanje: Final Countdown of ‘Southramnai Yaaga’ rituals begin with 'Poornaahuti'

Pavanje, Dec 16: ‘Poornaahuti’ of ‘Southramani Gavamayana Yaaga’ has already started here. This is being held with the sole motive of bringing peace and harmony in our society. The said Yaaga which first began on Dec 9 will be concluding here today on Sunday, the Dec 16th with the auspicious ‘Poornaahuti’.
 
In the history of Karnataka the ‘Southramani Gavamayana Yaaga’, is being held for the second time. In fact, preparations are in full swing for the ‘Poornaahuti’. It is the concluding day of the ongoing yaaga. 

On this occasion nearly 1,50,000 devotees are expected to witness and participate in the said auspicious ceremony.  The rituals, for the ‘Poornahuti’ is going on at the Pandit Subraya Bhat (Haribhat) memorial Sharadhvatha Yajnangana. The Poornahuti being conducted now will finally culminate today late at night. 







President of the Yaaga and Karnataka Chinmaya Mission head Swami Brahmananda Saraswati, Yaaga Director K S Nityananda, Yaaga Committee president Nalin Kumar Kateel, senior Secretary Divakar Samani, and few others are all taking the lead on this occasion. 






As the Maha Poornahuti gets over the devotees too will get an opportunity to perform the ‘Poornahuti’ as per the schedule of the Yaaga committee. For the ‘Poornahuti’ devotees will be offering ghee, cashew nut, arecanut, cereals, cloth materials and agricultural produce  to the Yagna Kunda.
