M’lore: Beary Community Should Achieve Academic Excellence: Zafrulla

Mangalore, Dec 23: The Beary community has remained backward only because of lack of education. Therefore, awareness is essential among the community to attain educational excellence, said Zafarulla Khan, chief advisor of Beary Cultural Forum (BCF).
Inaugurating the scholarship distribution ceremony, organized by BCF at Loyola Hall, St Aloysius College, in the city, on Sunday, December 23, he advised that the community should empower economically, in order to attain educational excellence and contribute for the national development.
Former minister Jayaprakash Hegde said that the rich in the Beary community should help the poor brethren, to make significant process in education, which would help the community to achieve overall development, he opined.
