London: 'Yaksha - The King' Sole Indian Entry in New Year Parade

London, Dec 29: The famed London Parade will be hosted on New Year's Day and India's lone entry Kuntikana S Kumar and team, is all set to participate in one of Europe's biggest event.

Kumar and his team formed by his wife Deepika, and Arun Raghvendra and his wife Sarita will enter the parade under the name of 'Yaksha - The King.' The team aims to popularise Yakshagana at the mega event which will be watched by half a million Londoners and about 200 million on television.

The annual event hosted in London will witness 10,000 performers representing 20 countries dressed to traverse 2.2 mile of the city. The event is in its 22nd year. The proceeds of the parade will be donated to various charities of London
