Bantwal: 4 persons threaten businessman in Vittal, complaint lodged

Bantwal, Oct 29: A businessman has lodged a complaint at Vittal police station relating to the life threat he received from four persons on Saturday, October 29.

Deviprasad Shetty is the complainant.

As per details, Deviprasad has business in two locations namely Mangaluru and Vittal. Shetty drove from Mangaluru to Vittal as he had some important work there. When he parked his vehicle and got down at Vittal, four persons came on two bikes and used abusive words against him. They also allegedly threatened him and came forward to assault him. Shetty was saved as locals came to his rescue. Then the four culprits sped from the spot on their bikes.

Shetty has named Ganesh from Kepu, Yogish from Devasya, Mahabala from Kolya and Vinod from Alangar as accused. Past enmity has been cited as the reason for the threat.

Vittal police have registered a case.
