Bengaluru, Nov 2: As many as 21 Congress MLAs, including Baburao Chinchansur who was dropped in the recent cabinet expansion and was part of the still-born revolt, have been accommodated as chairpersons of various state-level boards and corporations by Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
Among the names of MLAs, who have been accommodated as chairpersons are two from the coastal Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts - K Gopal Poojary as Chairman of Karnataka Forest Development Corporation, K Vasanth Bangera as Chairman of Karnataka Small Scale Industries Development Corporation - respectively.

While Chinchansur has been appointed as Chairman of the high profile Karnataka State Border Area Development Authority, three other prominent ministerial aspirants who could not be inducted into the cabinet – K Venkatesh from Mysuru, R V Devaraj and Mallikayya Guttedar – have been sought to be pacified with high profile postings.
K Venkatesh, a staunch loyalist of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, has been appointed Chairman of Bengaluru Development Authority, Malikayya Guttedar becomes the Karnataka Housing Board Chairman while RV Devaraj will be the chairman of Karnataka Slum Development Board.
