Mangaluru: Man found murdered at godown in Bunder

Mangaluru, Nov 4: A man was found murdered at Bunder here on Friday November 4.

The deceased is yet to be identified.

The body was found in the railway cement godown at the Old Port.

Sources said that the deceased was a coolie worker.

It is suspected that the murder might have taken place on the night of Thursday November 3. The incident came to light on Friday morning, after which the railway police informed Pandeshwar police.

ACP Shruti N S and other police personnel arrived at the spot and investigated.

The body was sent for post-mortem to Wenlock hospital.

Railway police are investigating the case.

    Now a days many coolie or labour murder case happening like this in our Karavali districts.

    Too many outside labours, taking advantage of our local people's kindness and they are not bothered to do any thing.

    They feel too much freedom in this area.

    It is better to have some control on outstation employees before it goes out of control.

    Employers should issue some Identification documents at least.

    @P.Shirish Kumar,Muscat,These coolie workers of course go out to other parts of India to earn Money just like you and me .That doesnt mean all of them murder others.so we should not put blame on Outsiders.is also possible some of them do.because of Money ,alcohol.

    Without person's identity cannot able to comment. Need full details. What happened is totally wrong. Some people leave there home settle down in other cities for sake of earning.
    Government should do national identity card permanent. Will helpful during emergencies.

    in karnataka murder , rapes,dacoity,suicides,molest , goondaism is common under brutus rule.

    brutus and company never bothered about common man, middle class and poor.
