Prince Harry’s Love Interest Trapped in Kenya Horror

London, Jan 7 (mb): Prince Harry’s girlfriend Chelsy Davy, who left freezing Britain last month to sun herself in Africa, is in trouble -  the Zimbabwean blonde is currently stuck in Kenya gripped by worst riots.

Davy’s paradise break in the tourist town of Malindi near Mombasa, where she is staying with brother Shaun and a group of pals, has turned to terror as she hunkers down in her luxury apartment for fear of getting caught in crossfire, the News of the World reported on Sunday.

Davy, due to be back in Leeds on Friday to begin three weeks of crucial university exams on Monday, is now too nervous to risk even the short drive to Malindi airport, from where she must fly to Kenyan capital Nairobi then to London. “We were expecting her back over the weekend but she’s had to change her plans because of the troubles. There’s been some violence and unrest where she’s staying and it’s seen as a risk getting to the airport in Malindi by road.

“She also doesn’t know what would await her in Nairobi if she flew there. So she’s trying to work out the best way to get back. But at the moment she is effectively stranded,” a friend of Davy at Leeds University was quoted as saying.

British consular officials have already warned Brits not to travel in Kenya where over 350 people have been killed in the East African nation and 250,000 people are homeless.
