Udupi, Nov 5: The district and sessions court here, where Rajeshwari Shetty, first accused in the murder of NRI entrepreneur, Bhaskar Shetty case, has moved bail application, adjourned the hearing into her petition to November 9.
This petition had been adjourned earlier too. As special public prosecutor in the case, Shantarm Shetty, sought time, judge of the court, Shivashankar Amarannavar, posted the petition for hearing to November 9.
Bhaskar Shetty, NRI entrepreneur having business interests in the city and Saudi Arabia, had been murdered on July 28 purportedly over his decision to bequeath all his properties to his mother . His wife, Rajeshwari Shetty, son, Navaneet Shetty, and astrologer, Niranjan Bhat Nandalike, have been named as prime accused in the case. All of them are in judicial custody at present.
