Kevin Misquith with band Milestone to entertain music lovers in Muscat

Muscat, Nov 7: It is a perfect occasion for music lovers in Oman to enjoy a fascinating festival of music from the most versatile singing sensation of the Konkani world. Light and Shadow Enterprises LLC – Sultanate of Oman along with The Mangalorean Catholic Center of the Parish (MCCP – Oman) will present a sensational musical evening, for the first time in Oman, titled ‘Kevin Misquith – Live in Muscat’ on Thursday, November 17 at 8.00 pm at Al Falaj Hotel, Ruwi. As per the announcement, gates for the show will open at 6.30 pm.

Kevin Misquith has crafted a magical sensation in the Konkani music world with his distinctive pattern of music and voice for the last decade and become a household name among the Konkani speaking population. Commencing with his first album 'Rupnem', he presented 'Tuji Yaad', 'Hi Jeen' and 'Thembe Thembe' with stunning and captivating music which were all super hits. His latest album, 'Ek Geet', also created a new chapter in Konkani with creative music. His touch of class music and mesmerizing voice has attracted multitude of young fans around the world. He has already performed live in many places in Mangaluru, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Goa and the Gulf Countries. ‘Kevin Misquith – Live in Muscat’ will be first of its kind show in Oman.

‘Milestone' the music band will be flown in from Mangaluru especially for this event to decorate the event with a golden touch of their exceptional music. Milestone, Kevin’s own group has given some of the most memorable performances in India and abroad.

The special attraction of the evening will be the ‘Compere par excellence’ Dony Correa, who will fly from Dubai for this event. Dony Correa, a popular name among Mangalureans in the UAE and around has created waves in the field of entertainment by exhibiting his all-round talent, be it in singing, compeering, drama, literature, Yakshagana and the latest being composing songs.

Morvine Quadras, winner of Gulf Voice of Mangalore season 4 will be one more special attraction of the evening. Morvine based in Kuwait, will add a great spirit to the evening of entertainment with his paradigm voice. Morvine Quadras has sung in many Konkani albums including Eric Soan’s devotional albums, Oswald Valencia’s ‘Dance Dayana Dance’ Konkani album.

The organizers are planning to present highly entertaining evening for the audience. There will be spectacular dances, rib tickling skits by local artistes. Kevin Misquith with his team is planning to have Novelty Dance, a special treat for the Oman audience.
