One of the goals of the RSS is the removal of constitutional protection of the minorities. RSS should be banned until it acknowledges the Indian constitution as the supreme law of the land.

What is wrong in RSS running a School on Hindu values in India ? Should they go and open schools in Italy, Rome or Afghanisthan ? If any of their acts are beyond law and constitution then dont you have recourse to the legal institutions? What are so called modern Indian values? Do those values where a majority is supressed and subdued to act to the wishes of a minority against the rule of democracy which means majority will prevail?

Do those values mean institutionalise Vote Bank Politcs? What is anti national- Discipline? Yoga? Mallkamba? Some reader goes to the level of caliing the hard work as stunts. Please have the magnanimity to respect and regard to the hard efforts put forth by the children and dont denigrate them because you dont like the school management.

To those who chose to react to my comments - I do agree that merely propagating Hindu values does not make anyone extremist. A case in point is the Chinmaya mission, which is run by Hindu missionaries, but at the same time has been a positive influence.

SImilarly, Jesuit institutions have run schools for years, but have never been accused of preaching against others on the basis of reigion/caste. My point here is that this particular school is that it is run by an oprganisaiton that has clearly preached hatred (and keeps doing so in the various schools run by them).

It is run by key members of the Sangh Parivar. It is normal to see RSS drills being run in similar schools. In fact, some pictures have shown students in RSS uniform practising 'stunts'. If people think that this organisation does not preach hatred , I can only sympathise with them.

There is nothing wrong in preaching values of one religion, but to teach students to hate and despise others at a very young age can have distastrous results for both the student and society as a whole (as we are seeing now in our district and elsewhere) .

It is not the wonderful 'images' at the function that I'm objecting to, it is what these students are being taught within their classrooms by that is dangerous. If peope think that by objecting to these organisations, people are objecting to Hinduism per se, then I can only pray to God to grant them more wisdom.

Is the school run by the RSS? The values of RSS are incompatible with the values of modern India. The RSS is opposed to the freedom, dignity and equality of non-Hindus.

It is not correct to say that the school is run by extremist organization.. But atleast it is giving good education to students like any other institutes like St.Aloyisius or any other communities run institution.

It is sad that people term it as extremist for just being preaching Hindu values which make no harm to human kind. Why are we not terming other education institutions extremists?

It is well known that the school is being run by an extremist organisation, with its chairman (Mr Prabhakar Bhat) being the South India chief of the organisation. While the dispay may be be impressive, It is indeed sad that these young minds are being poisoned at an early age. Parents who willingly allow their children to be fed propaganda at an early age don't realise the harm their causing to the mental development of their own children, let alone society.

Brilliant …. No words to explain. Congratulations to Sri Rama High School. This small town school has done wonders. We must appreciate the way School annual day is conducted, it heartening to see children performing Mallakamba, Yoga and School bands instead of dancing to filmy numbers. Every school must follow their example and try to develop overall growth of the children
