Mangaluru, Nov 11: "The police commissioner must take the responsibility for the assault on RSS activist near Kuthar on behalf of the police department and seek necessary help from the state government for the speedy arrest of the assaulters" said UT Khader, food and civil supplies minister and MLA of Mangaluru constituency.
Addressing the media persons in city on Friday, November 11, Khader pointed out that these acts are being repeated due to intelligence failure. "Hence the police commissioner must appoint senior intelligence officials to the Ullal region and prevent such incidents. Whatever help he needs to strengthen the intelligence, will be provided and I am also ready to speak to home minister Dr Parameshwar to implement his recommendations.” Khader said.
"Earlier such incidents used to take place only around Ullal. But now it is reaching other nearby places. It is a big security concern,” he added.
"These acts are repeated to create barriers between two religions and spread hatred. I request people of all religions to cooperate with the police in nabbing the culprits. Please do not pay heed to the rumours. We have our faith in police. We know the type of bike used. Hence the police commissioner must inspect all such bikes in the district and bring the assaulters behind the bars. The police personnel should take action in such a way that trouble mongers should hesitate to commit such crimes," Khader said.
