Bangalore: Teacher arrested for Writing Love Letter to a Student

Bangalore, Jan 11: A teacher who tried to court one of his ninth standard students with a 'love letter' at a high school in Haralalusandra village near here, was thrashed by the villagers and later ended up behind bars.

According to police, the teacher started making advances to the girl offering her greeting cards, just six months into his job. Two days back, he gave her a love letter.

The frightened girl informed her parents, who along with the villagers then beat him up and handed him over to police the block education officer has ordered his suspension. Police produced him before a court, which remanded him to judicial custody.
