Bahrain: KSC Annual Day celebrated with panache and style

Bahrain, Nov 20: The Karnataka Social Club (KSC) - Bahrain held its Annual Day celebrations at the Swiss International Palace Hotel, on Thursday, November 17.

The event started with a slow waltz session with local band,The Expats, playing some classic hits of the yesteryears. This was followed by the traditional cutting of the cake, by members of the executive committee.


































































The President,  Sunil D’Souza in this inaugural address reminded, the members, of the hard work put in by the past and present committees to maintain the high standards of the club in every field. He also urged the new generation to follow in the same footprints and contribute to the well-being of the club in the years to come.

Secretary, Vinay Sequeira lauded and gave due credit to all those who helped make the event a success.

The event’s highlight  KSC Charmers Contest had a dozen contestants trying to woo the audience and judges in a typical Bollywood style. The ultimate winner's title went to Ajay and Sonia Lobo while close in second place were Ivan and Annette Vaz.

The in-form band then mesmerised the crowd belting out old and contemporary hits. A grand dinner buffet followed by a live masala/baila session ensured that the crowd had something to cheer about till the wee hours of the morning.

The vote of thanks was proposed by the Gen.
