Mangalore: Henry D’Cunha (34), Prakash D’Cunha (25) Die in Tanker-Scooter Accident

Mangalore, Jan 12: Two persons are reported to have died in a horrific road accident that occurred at Valachil on National Highway 48 on Saturday, in the afternoon of 12 January.
The deceased have been identified as Henry D’Cunha (34) and his nephew Prakash D’Cunha (25).
The incident occurred while they were heading towards Adyar, from Farangipet. The Kinetic Honda, in which they were traveling, collided with a diesel tanker, which was plying from Padil to Arkula. Both succumbed to injuries while being shifted to the hospital.
Sources say that reckless riding by the scooter rider was the reason for this ghastly accident. Kankanady rural police have registered the case and are investigating.
