Udupi, Nov 27: 'Sizzling Guys' dance crew set the stage on fire with a rocking performance at the mega 'Udupi Sambhrama-2016' entertainment extravaganza held at Royal Gardens, Kalsanka here on Saturday, November 26. The event was hosted by Jotun Parivar.
A music concert enthralled the audience as they revelled in all the tracks sung by eminent singers from Bengaluru and Kerala. A colourful magic show was another highlight of the evening.
Prakash Ammannaya inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp and wished the organizers all success.
Kannada film actor Mani Shetty graced the occasion. In his address, he said, "I am very to be here as a guest. Jotun Parivar has been rendering its service to society and helping students. There is a need to organize such programmes not only for entertaining people but also for helping poor families."
Another guest, lawyer Shashidhar Kundar, said, "One should contribute a part of one's income for the development of society. May Jotun Parivar do many good things in future too."
Magician Niyaz Kannur mesmerized the audience with a brilliant show.
Live music was provided by Friends Melodies band. Electrifying pyrotechnics arranged by Jotun Parivar literally added a spark to the event. Mind-blowing sounds and psychedelic lights arranged by Shashikala Sounds, Manipal perfectly complemented the performances.
For the first time in the history of Udupi, five VJs added flavour to the entire show with their unique style of compering. The VJs were Anusha Bengaluru, VJ Laxmi Suvarna, RJ Prasanna, Chethan Kumar and VJ Hisrar.
Singers Nayana from Kerala, Rakesh, Vidya Suvarna, Sameer Mangaluru, Sharavti, Vishwas Mangaluru captured the hearts with their amazing voices.
Ram Shetty, businessman from Mumbai, Akhil Hegde and others were present on the occasion.
The programme began with an invocation by Navyatha and Namritha.
The proceeds of the event will be donated to Manasa Special Children School, Pambur and as scholarship fund for Suchitra.
