Udupi: Distinguished Achievement Award Presented to John D'Silva, Pikale and Masurkar

Udupi, Jan 16: The presentation of distinguished achievement awards programme was organized by Dr TMA Pai Foundation, Manipal, for outstanding Konkanites at the banquet hall of Hotel Valley View International on Tuesday January 15.

Mohandas M Pai of Manipal University, M V Kamath, chairman of Prasar Bharati and Dr Ramdas Pai, chancellor of Manipal University were the chief guests, present at the occasion.










Veteran  cooperative banker, John D’Silva of Mumbai, Supreme Court lawyer Shantharam Venkat Rao Pikale and Gurudas V Masurkar were presented with the achievement award, during the programme.  Meanwhile, ‘My Dreams and My Realities,’ Konkani book written by J B Sequeira was also released on the same occasion.

Basti Vaman Shenoy, K G Pai, Gladys J D’Silva, Prameela V Mathias, Vishwanath U Mada, Sadanand D Nayak, Gokuldas Kamath and Louis Almeida Manipal, were also present.

Vibha Nayak sang a welcome song while K K Pai, president of Dr TMA Pai Foundation welcomed the gathering. Dr H Shantharam proposed vote of thanks.
