Mangalore, January 19: A musical concert by the well known playback singer S P Balasubrahmanyam (who is also known as SPB) and other playback singers of Kannada film industry, was held at TMA Pai International Convention Centre, organized by  Telugu Kala Samith to raise funds for their proposed multi purpose building  at Surathkal, on Saturday   January 19. 

The concert had a  mixture of songs  from various  Indian Languages including Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Tulu.












The versatile singer displayed his talent, through the rendition of filmy, devotional and patriotic songs.  SPB has  also a record of gaining entry into Guinness  book of world records for his superb talent.

Some of the songs included Yarivanu - a Kannada song from the all time great box office Hit Premaloka which was starred by bollywood's famous star Juhi Chawla. 

Diwa Ragaan, a lesser known singer from Mangalore rocked the auditorium with her melodious voice that could replicate song in its original form.

The occasion was graced by M Maheshwar Rao, Deputy Commissioner, Prasad, IGP and other distinguished guests.
