Sullia, Jan 22: Taluk-level Yuva Jana Mela was organized at Kolla village here recently.
Inaugurating the event former MLA S Angar said it was possible youth programme like the Yuva Jana Mela help in sustaining our culture.
The programme was presided over by taluk panchayat president Shankar Peraje. Speaking on the occasion he said that the event was the perfect opportunity for youth to showcase their talents.
A total of 309 young men and women belonging to 21 youth clubs took part in the various competitions.
Kolla gram panchayat president Bharati, C A Bank of Harihara president Sitaram Koppadka, youth sports department director C M Ramesh, taluk panchayat chief executive officer Puttaswami, Subramanya Temple managing committee trustee Jayaprakash Kujugodu, Shailesh Ambekal, Narayanayya Katta and Chandrashekar Kiribhaga were the chief guests.
