For reasons well known to Mangaloreans, Ullal has been a communally sensitive area for as long as we know. There is always a certain trust deficit between the communities although I am unaware of the demography. This is precisely why it has been an ideal kitchen for our political cooks. You see Kumaraswamy spending a day in someone's house, offering prayers I don't know how many times in the Dargah and well it's not only him but several others.

Yet, a trivial throwing of plastic chairs by a certain Hameed boils over and the result as we have it now is imposition of section 144. And what is ridiculous is police entering houses to take away the grown up men for questioning (and we all know how they induce the parrots to speak).

Well, the Kadher dynasty has been ruling Ullal for a long time isn't it? Mr. Kadher, how about touring your constituency if you are in town and promising what your most hated political counterpart in Narendra Modi promised....."No communal violence during my tenure" Modi bashers please wake up and argue otherwise...!!!!
