Blasiab was not a politician in my view but was a social worker. As a student leader, a hockey player, a fine human being led his life by touching the hearts whoever he came across. Never aspired anything in return he helped the needy for the sheer happiness he got out it. May he be rewarded amply in heaven.

May his Soul Rest in Peace. But one thing couldn't understand why Oscar Fernandes was not to be seen at all. Blasius D'souza fellow Congressman, down to earth person and afterall great Mangalorean who was so active in public life. Oscar was seen in other public function alongwith is wife on the stage. But surprisingly he couldn't make it to the funeral of this great Mangalorean soul. It is so touching to see Ramanath Rai, Janardhan Poojary, Veerappa Moily and so many people attending the funeral.
