Some of them watched the snake closely with fear. Few of them tried various tricks to chase the snake from the cash box. However, it was already sunset and anxious people left for their homes.  Though some of them tried their best to chase the snake and clear the cash box, they did not succeed till late in the evening.

It's a very good sign for the owner, actually we too found a snake in the table drawer in our neighbours house. Actually they were very poor. But now it seems GOD gave them good luck & they are much wealthy people in all aspects in our place itself. It's too rare snakes comes & stay in these locations.

You didn't mention what eventually happened to the snake. I guess the only reason it was spared was because it was a Cobra. Any other breed, and It would have been killed by now. People ought to have a list of handy telephone numbers ready. One of them must be of the Animal Care Trust which immediately tends to such cases.

Daya, It is nice to capture such moments on camera. It is very rare that snakes stay in the same place despite sensing danger. I hope the snake has been moved to a safer environment.
