Dubai, Feb 2: The parishioners of Shankerpura - Pangla spread all over UAE, gathered together at Ratsky Club hall in Ramada Hotel Deira on Feb 1, 2008 and were present throughout the day, to mark the 5th anniversary of Emirates Pangalites.
Though the weather in UAE was windy and dusty, the spirit of Pangalites was flying high as a packed audience gathered to celebrate the anniversary in style. The day was filled with fun, laughter and entertainment alongwith the felicitation ceremony.
The event began with a classical dance performance with a prayer theme by a little girl Damitra Castelino. A felicitation program was organized by the association. Fr Freddy D'Souza of St Mary's Church was the chief guest. Daiji Dubai convener Hemacharya and Daiji Rang Mandir convener Dayan D'Souza were the guests of honor.
