Mangalore: Austin Prabhu's 'Mothiyam' to be Released on Feb 10

Mangalore, Feb 5: 'Mothiyam' (Pearls) a collection of short Konkani poems (chutuks) and words of wisdom written by Austin D'Souza Prabhu, Chicago will be released on Sunday February 10 at 2 pm at Pastoral Institute, Bajjodi here at a programme by Catholic Sabha central commitee.

 The book will be released by Lancy D'Cunha, president of Catholic Sabha.

Austin D'Souza Prabhu is one of the founders of Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh and was its first vice-president.  The book is published by Dr Gerald Pinto through his publication 'Divya Deepa.'  Fr Mark Valder, former editor of Raknno weekly has written the foreword for the book. The book contains about 800 chutuks, which stem from the vast experience of the author and which can be used in speeches and sermons.

All the sale proceedings of this book will go to Manasa Rehabilitation and Training Centre, Pamboor for benefit of mentally challenged children.  This is the seventh publication of Divya Deepa publications and the fourth book by Austin D'Souza Prabhu.
