Mangalore: Newly Constructed 'Takwa Masjid' Inaugurated at Pumpwell

Mangalore, Feb 7:The newly constructed masjid 'Takwa Masjid' was inaugurated at Pumpwell , Mangalore on Thursday, February 7.











Mahammad Ali Siyab Tangal of Panakkad inaugurated and blessed the masjid.  Ullal Khazi Bukhari Tangal, Yenepoya Abdullah Kunhi, president of Islamic Cultural Centre, Kota Abdul Khader Musliyar, Khazi of Mangalore, entrepreneurs Kanachur Monu, B A Moiddin, B A Farooq Bangalore, B A Mumtaz Ali, trustee of the masjid, retired police officer G A Bava  were among the dignitaries  present on the dais.

Also very much impressed to see Ullal Thangal, Kanthapuram Musliyar, Shihab Thangal, Perode Ustad, Kota Abdul Khader Musliyar, Jabbar Ustad together at one dais.bless Janab Yenapoya Abdullah Kunhi,Mumtaz ali, and other staunch Sunni leaders together with our great Ulemas, in million folds of their intentions, who were instrumental behind this great project.

    I would suggest the authorities of this masjid to establish a Centre for Inter-religious Dialogue to promote mutual tolerance between followers of all faiths. I reside in the same area where this masjid is situated.

    Great job god bless every one who worked behind this dream project .Hats off to the Hindu brothers of pumpwell who co operated to shift the bus stand which was standing in front of the Masjid entrance'.  May god help us to keep the communal harmony of Mangalore.

    It was like a dream come true to have such a majestic, state of the art Masjid building at a most ideal location in Mangalore. Also very much impressed to see Ullal Thangal, Kanthapuram Musliyar, Shihab Thangal, Perode Ustad, Kota Abdul Khader Musliyar, Jabbar Ustad together at one dais. Just wish frequent recurring of such occasions to see them together with unanimity.
