Daijiworld Media Network-Puttur (RJP)

Puttur, Jan 26: A fight between the manager and cashier of a bar in Nelyadi near Uppinangadi has made several senior police officers to visit the place. Normally even during big crimes, so many senior police officers do not visit the place of the crime.

Praveen, manager of the bar located in the heart of the city, went to the house of Lokesh and assaulted him with the help of others. Lokesh too works in the same bar as cashier. The reason for the assault was that Lokesh was not reporting for duty for 4 days. It is said that Padmavathi, mother of Lokesh, too was assaulted. Lokesh and Padmavathi both went to a hospital in Puttur and got admitted there.

Some supporters of Lokesh went to the bar and allegedly assaulted Praveen and his friends. Mahesh, Kishan, Nithin and Yashwanth and other four are accused of this assault. Praveen got admitted himself at a hospital in Nelyadi. Both these incidents took place on Tuesday, January 24.

In between, they were rumours that Praveen was handed over to the police by the supporters of Lokesh, and a robbery case was registered against him instead of assault case. Meanwhile a complaint was lodged against Mahesh, Kishan, Nithin and Yashwanth and other four persons for allegedly entering the bar and looting money from there. Both these complaints were filed at Uppinangadi police station.

A police complaint has also been filed at Kadaba police station against a person named George for assault.

More than 6 police vehicles were seen near the bar on Wednesday, January 25 for the sake of investigations. Senior police officers like additional superintendent of police Vedamurthy, DySP Bhaskar Rai, Circle inspector Anil Kulkarni, Uppinangadi sub-inspector Ratan Kumar, Nelyadi rural police and finger experts visited the small village Nelyadi for investigations.

Some people in Nelyadi said that even during bigger crimes, especially jewelry shop theft last year and other thefts, such presence of police officers was not seen. They have also criticized the way the police officers conducting enquiry in front of the bar, instead of at police station. Influence and instructions from politicians has been cited as reason for the ‘speed’ in the investigations.

Noone should be assaulted for not attending on duty since four days or months.Reason can be asked either by telefon or visit him to see if everything is in order. Can possible, one is sick.Second the employee has the right to inform his employer about his absence, and reason too(Not needed)Assaulting is the one in India spread for everything. Why cant one speak friendly without raising voice and hands.Later getting admitted in hospital also make any difference. In this business benefitters are only hospitals and doctors.and lawyers.
