Sullia: Youth employed at Mangaluru ends life

Sullia, Jan 28: Giridhar (21), son of Choma from Padnadka in Enekal village near Subrahmanya in the taluk committed suicide by hanging himself near his home on the evening of Friday January 27.

Giridhar was employed at a private firm in Mangaluru where he usually stayed. He had come to his native place two days back. On Friday evening, he hanged himself from a cashew tree located on the rear side of his house, when no one was around.

The family members of the victim said they are not aware of any grave problems if any, the youth was facing, and which would have driven him to take this extreme step.

Subrahmanya police have registered a case. Giridhar has left behind parents and two brothers.
