Mangalore: Abandoned Child Found at State Bank Bus Terminus

Mangalore, Feb 17: An abandoned girl child of about three years of age has been rescued by Child Welfare Committee (CWC) near State Bank bus stand in the city, on Sunday February 17.

Sources informed that the girl was found to be weeping in the bus stand at around 1.00 p m.  The general public informed the police of weeping girl who seems to be on look-out for her parents. 

The police in turn informed Child Welfare Committee who took the girl to their quarters.

The girl was able to speak her mother tongue Tulu.  CWC authorities urged the parents of this child to contact their office.
