Dubai: Mangalore Konkans Assn Announces Calendar of Events for 2008

Dubai, Feb 18: Mangalore Konkans Dubai, Middle East's leading Mangalorean association has planned loads of events for the months to come which will keep its members busy throughout the year. The association is on the verge of celebrating its 20th anniversary.

In an official communication to Daijiworld, Mangalore Konkanks has announced the following events:

  • Annual Sports meet -  April 11
  • Konkani Voice of UAE (GULF) competition - May 23
  • Prathibha Spordho - September 19
  • 20th anniversary celebration (grand finale) - November 28

However, the dates mentioned above are tentative and may be subject to change depending on availability of venue and other factors.
